TWYFELFONTEIN LODGE
- 56-roomed country hotel
- Historic Twyfelfontein site
- Spacious guest areas & swimming pool
- Awesome rock art & hiking trails
The Twyfelfontein area is renowned for its world-famous geological features such as the Organ Pipes, Petrified Forest and Burnt Mountain.
The 56-roomed Twyfelfontein Lodge is situated on a conservancy just 4 kilometres (2.5 miles) from the historic Twyfelfontein site. Each en suite double room is tastefully furnished, featuring wooden doors and window frames. To allow the thatched buildings to blend with the surrounding area the exterior walls are clad with indigenous stone. Leading off the reception area is a central dining room, lounge, bar and swimming pool.
The Lodge is an ideal location for exploring the area and visiting the Adam and Eve engravings, ‘Wondergat’ and the Doros crater. Hiking trails are available and donkey cart rides can also be arranged.
