Perched on the jagged rim of the world’s oldest caldera is the beautiful Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge. Created from river-stone and cloaked in indigenous creepers, this superlative lodge blends effortlessly into its surrounds. Ngorongoro Serena boasts 75 elegant rooms, which are strung around the crater rim. Each room provides breathtaking views of the caldera and has a lovely ensuite bathroom and air conditioning.
The Lodge’s unique design continues into the restaurant and bar, with magnificent examples of prehistoric cave paintings etched into the walls.
