Tucked away, amid soft sand dunes, on a palm-dotted beach is the natural luxury of Kiwayu Safari Village. Here guests can experience true coastal living – Kenyan style. Overlooking a natural lagoon is the lodge’s 18 thatched bandas, each consisting of a spacious bedroom with oh-so comfy bed, a dressing room and a safari-style shower with flushing w.c. Guests can relax on their private hammock-strung veranda, while watching the sunset over azure waters.
The guest areas include a dining area, sitting room, bar and boutique store. Guests are truly spoilt for choice when it comes to activities at Kiwayu. Here, they can partake in laser sailing, snorkelling, deep-sea fishing, dhow excursions, picnic lunches, guided dune walks, boat trips to nearby beaches and day trips to the old Swahili Lamu.
