Ol Kanjau is situated at the foot of Africa’s largest peak, Mt Kilimanjaro. It is adjacent to Amboseli National park and is surrounded by a large area of raw African bush owned by Kisongo Maasai pastoralists who benefit directly from visitors to the camp. The camp’s surrounding wilderness, a combination of beautiful scenery and wide open spaces, is home to a growing population of elephant families.
Ol Kanjau is a traditional safari style mobile tented camp, kept as simple as possible so guests can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet; breathe in clean air; and count a million stars under the incredible African night sky. Accommodation consists of six spacious and luxurious twin tents, with large comfortable beds, safari style bathrooms - with bucket showers and hot water; and gas lanterns to light your tent at night. The cost of staying at the lodge includes soft drinks, beer and house wine.
