 Kilalinda and its private concession area are situated right on the banks of the Athi River which bisects the Tsavo East National Park.
This remote hardly visited wilderness area of Tsavo East together with Tsavo West is bigger than Wales itself and one of the largest game sanctuaries in the world.
Immediately above Kilalinda is the volcanic Yatta Plateau which stretches for more than 100 miles. From here one can clearly see Kilimanjaro and breathtaking sunsets over its snow capped peaks.
The lodge includes a swimming pool, private jacuzzi, star baths, six individually furnished spacious rooms (cottages) as well as main dining area, lounge bar area and river terrace. The lodge is perfect for groups of friends or families who wish to set their own pace & own agenda without recourse to others. Up to 12 guests can be comfortably accommodated.
The property also includes approx 8,000 acres of privately owned concession area which has been solely dedicated as a wildlife conservation reserve. Activities at the lodge include: Walking safaris, game drives in open-top Land Rovers, sundowners and bush breakfasts can be taken in the private area or atop the dramatic Yatta plateau with its stunning panoramas. For those just wishing to escape and find solace and tranquility in the warmth of the wilderness, open-air 'celestial ceiling' star baths and a private jacuzzi provide a truly romantic peaceful end to any day's exertions.
