Elephant Pepper Camp is located within the world famous Masai Mara. It is an original bush camp with an emphasis on eco-friendliness and is committed to developing a way of life which protects the environment from harm. All revenue from the camp goes back to the local community. The camp is seasonal but full of home comforts and a relaxing mentality. Elephant Pepper Camp brings people back to nature, no generator, no traffic, no permanent structures obstructing your view, just the sights and sounds of the African bush.
The camp nestles in the shade of a natural forest overlooking the Mara plains. It has 8 large, light canvas tents with en-suite dressing rooms, safari showers filled with hot water on request, and flush toilets. 4 of the tents have been upgraded, one of which is a family/honeymoon tent. 3 of the tents will be 1 bay larger and the honeymoon/family tent boasts a separate dressing room, living room and 80 sq metres of living space. All guests enjoy a panoramic view of the Masai Mara plains from their tents; ideal for capturing the breathtaking sights the Mara has to offer.
The main dining area offers delicious family-style dining with a help-yourself bar. Trained chefs produce fantastic traditional Northern Italian cuisine each day which will tantalize your tastebuds and satisfy even the fiercest hunger. Game drives in 4-wheel drive Land Rovers are offered including exciting night drives to catch a glimpse of nocturnal wildlife. Guided Bush walks, Bush Breakfasts and Bush sundowners allow guests to immerse themselves in the beauty of the wild, while still enjoying personalized and dedicated service from professional, friendly staff.
