Chobe Savanna Lodge is situated on a peninsula on the northern banks of the Chobe River, and overlooks the vast floodplains of the Chobe National Park's Puku Flats. It has a unique atmosphere, a colourful African culture, and upholds its rich traditions, customs and architecture.
The Lodge is relaxed and informal, set in a classic African savanna environment with sweeping vistas and views all around the lodge. Rooms are furnished in subtle, yet stylish thatched chalets that are decorated with beautiful African inspired furniture. The focal point of the lodge is a thatched open sided main building which commands a 270 degree view over the Chobe River and beyond to the Chobe National Park.
The area is renowned for its diverse and prolific wildlife and is home to large herds of Elephant, Buffalo and Hippo, as well as concentrations of other wildlife, including Giraffe, Sable, Wild Dog, Lion and other predators, which come down to the rivers edge to drink, graze and hunt.
