Located on the edge of a beautiful forest in the Masai Mara, Richard’s Camp is a traditional tented camp, furnished in African safari style with a few modern surprises – a perfect base for exploring the Masai Mara and its magic. Each individually decorated tent has either twin or double beds with triple rooms available for families upon request. A solar system provides clean, silent power and ensures 24hour light to all the tents. All of the six, spacious individually designed tents feature an ensuite bathroom and heated shower. Guest areas include a cosy sitting room (with a roaring fire) and a dining room. Meals are usually served outdoors under a starlit sky. At the end of the day, guests can indulge in an open-air Victorian bath - tucked away in the forest, surrounded by flickering candles and the sounds of the bush. Activities include twice-daily game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles (with afternoon sundowners in the bush), guided walking safaris, birdwatching and cultural visits to a Maasai Village.
