Located in northern Kenya, Samburu National Park has a wild beauty of its own. The descent from the lush slopes of Mt Kenya, into the semi-desert of Kenya Northern Frontier District, is breathtaking. SaSaab is on Samburu community land, on the Ngutuk Ongiron Group Ranch, known as the West Gate Conservancy. The main area sits on a high rocky ridge allowing guests to enjoy the spectacular views through the camps Moroccan interior and courtyard. The swimming pool is perched on the hillside overlooking the river. Delectable Moroccan influenced menus have a strong emphasis on the highest quality and freshest ingredients. Guests can enjoy massage and beauty treatments in the privacy of their tents. Accommodation is in nine Moroccan-styled tents, each comprising of a bedroom, sitting room and a beautiful ensuite bathroom. All tents have wireless internet connection and a private plunge pool. Activities include twice-daily game drives - which include night drives, walking safaris along the river or in the grasslands, day trips to Samburu Reserve, mountain biking, camel riding and cultural excursions.
