Situated between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, Tsala Treetop Lodge is a symphony of stone, wood, glass and water high above the floor of the magnificent indigenous forests of the Garden Route.
Eastern and European flavours blend with the cultures of Africa to reflect the tastes, rhythms and colours of the hand crafted fittings and superb cuisine. Elevated wooden walkways meander through the trees to ten exclusive and very private suites. The seductive structures rise to heights exceeding six metres (20 feet), each one a harmonious combination of the craftsmanship of ancient times and voluptuous luxury of modern convenience.
The suites comprise sitting room, bedroom, spacious bathroom with magnificent views, indoor and outside showers, observation deck, swimming pool and deck, all elevated into the forest canopy. Rooms also feature fireplaces, mini-bar, telephone, TV, hi fi/CD player and ports to connect lap top computers. Furnishings and fittings have been hand crafted as befit such unique structures; wonderful textures, colours, wood, masonry, brass and steel reflecting the skills and the cultures of Africa.
