GEORGE, GARDEN ROUTE
Centrally situated halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, the town of George is the perfect base from which to explore the Garden Route. The town boasts the world-famous and immaculate Fancourt Golf Estate, which was host to the 2003 President’s Cup. George is one of the biggest towns along the George Garden Route.

George
George is the sixth oldest town in South Africa and is the ideal stopover point between Port Elizabeth and Cape Town. The town is picturesquely situated between the majestic Outeniqua Mountain to the north and the Indian ocean to the South.
The area surrounding George consists of a remarkable blend of mountains, rivers, indigenous and cultivated forests, colourful shrubs and wild flowers, glorious beaches and rich farmlands.
Situated along the magnificent Garden Route, the coastal towns of Knysna and Plettenberg Bay are situated further north and slightly inland, Outdshoorn offers many splendid attractions and activities for the traveller.
