GRASSLANDS TO ISLANDS SAFARI
Day 1: Nairobi
Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport a representative from &BEYOND will be waiting to drive you to the House of Waine, where you will spend the night.
Day 2, 3 & 4: Serengeti National Park, following the migration
After breakfast you will be chauffeured to Wilson Airport, where you board your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport in Tanzania. Once you have cleared customs and immigration, you will board another flight to the airstrip nearest to the current location of &BEYOND Serengeti Under Canvas. A 4x4 safari vehicle will be waiting at the airstrip to take you on your first game drive en route to this mobile camp, which follows the path of the massed herds of the Great Migration.
For the next three nights, you will enjoy the simple luxury of a finely furnished tent with an ensuite bathroom at a private wilderness campsite deep in the Serengeti. Track the movements of the wildebeest and zebra, as well as the many carnivores they attract and the other resident game in the Serengeti, on twice-daily game drives or indulge in an all-day game viewing adventure with a packed picnic lunch.
Day 5, 6 & 7: Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area
Enjoy an early morning game drive and breakfast before you are driven to the airstrip, where your flight to Manyara Airstrip will be waiting. From here, a two-hour drive will provide plenty of opportunity to explore new scenery on your way to &BEYOND Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.
For the next three nights you will enjoy some of the most spectacular views on the African continent from your whimsical suite on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Take a full day’s game drive to explore the incredible diversity of wildlife on the Crater floor. Incredible landmarks such as the Olduvai Gorge, Shifting Sands and the Empakai Crater lie within easy reach and expeditions to discover their wonders can be arranged. For a change of perspective, visit an authentic Maasai village for a glimpse of their unique way of life. After all the day’s excitement, pamper yourself with a relaxing massage to refresh and rejuvenate.
Day 8: Nairobi
Following a delicious breakfast, you will have one more opportunity to enjoy the wide open scenery en route to Manyara Airstrip for your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport. From there, you will have made your own arrangements to board a flight to the Seychelles.
Day 8 - 12: Mahe Island, Seychelles
A representative from &BEYOND will be waiting for you immediately outside the arrivals hall at Mahe International Airport. A leisurely drive of about 40 minutes through magnificent mountain scenery will take you to Le Meridien Barbarons Beach Spa Resort.
You will spend the next five nights in a superior ensuite room, set amidst tropical gardens and overlooking crystal blue lagoons and the pure white sands of the hotel’s private bay.
Day 13: Departure
A representative from &BEYOND will meet you at your hotel, chauffeur you to Mahe International Airport and assist you with the check in for your return flight.
