THE SMOKE THAT THUNDERS
Day 1 & 2: Livingstone
Upon arrival at Livingstone Airport you will be met and driven to the lodge or hotel of your choice.
Spend two nights in a twin bedded cottage on the banks of the Zambezi River at Tongabezi Lodge. Accommodation is on a full board basis, including a selection of adventures.
The adventures on offer are varied and include a tour of Livingstone Town to visit the Livingstone Historical Museum, The Livingstone Railway Museum and the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, which is renowned for its white rhinoceros. Instead of having lunch at Tongabezi Lodge you may opt for a picnic lunch on one of the nearby islands accompanied by a guide (at an additional cost). Water activities are by canoe or, for the less energetic ornithologist or fisherman, by motorised banana boat. A visit to the Zambian side of the magnificent Victoria Falls will complete your Tongabezi experience.
Alternatively
Spend two nights in a twin bedded room on the forested banks of the Zambezi River at the Royal Livingstone. Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 3: Departure
You will be chauffeured to Livingstone Airport, where your safari with us will end.
