SEA & SAFARI FAMILY FUN


Day 01 - 03: Cape Town
Upon your arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by a CC Africa representative, who will chauffer you to the Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa. Our representative will hand over all of your travel documents, go over them with you and assist with any questions you might have, with regards to your tour.

Enjoy three nights at the Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa. Accommodation is in a superior sea-facing room.  Your stay is on a bed and breakfast basis.  Also included for children is a basket filled with books and games; a baby/toddler robe will be placed in the room along with the adults robes; a goodie bag on arrival as well as a kids breakfast buffet.

Day 04 - 05: Winelands
After breakfast, you will be collected from the Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa and chauffeured back to the Winelands Region, where you will stay at the beautiful Spier Hotel.

Enjoy two nights at the Spier Hotel. Accommodation is in a standard room, on a bed and breakfast basis, and also includes a Spier Hotel Restaurant voucher to the value of ZAR 150.00 per person, per stay. You will also receive a bottle of Spier Classic Wine.

The Village at Spier is situated just outside Stellenbosch in the heart of the world-renowned Cape Winelands, offering village ambience, superb restaurants and the peace and tranquillity of a farm-fresh atmosphere. Day 06 - 07: Whale Coast
Today you will be chauffeured to the Whale Coast Region.

Enjoy two memorable nights at Grootbos Nature Reserve, Garden Lodge. Accommodation is in a luxury suite.  Your stay is on is on a fully inclusive basis, including welcome drinks on arrival, fresh fruit daily, light lunch, five-course dinner, full English breakfast, sparkling wine on afternoon drives, horse riding( for all levels of expertise), guided walks (including fynbos nature tours & Milkwood walks), nature, marine and coastal drives which includes the Walker Bay Nature Reserve, De Kelders cliff walk, Klipgat Cave combined with seasonal land-based whale watching (whale watching especially during June-December), and various maps of the reserve, and the area, for self-guided walks and transfers to and from all activities.

Grootbos Nature Reserve conserves 1700 hectares of pristine fynbos, the Cape’s unique vegetation type. Within our borders lies a wealth of more than 650 species of indigenous plants. Huge stands of extravagant proteas paint the hillsides and bulbs burst into flower after fire. Pollination, seed dispersal and germination - there is always something happening and a story to be told. Our expert botanical guides will open your eyes to the intricacies of the fynbos ecosystems and leave you with another lasting impression of the wonders of nature. The classic Garden Lodge set in a lush indigenous surrounding is the ideal family getaway. Day 08 - 09: Madikwe Private Game Reserve
This morning, you will be chauffeured back to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to O.R. Tambo International Airport (flight not included).  At O.R. Tambo International Airport, you will depart on a scheduled charter flight to Madikwe Private Game Reserve for your family safari.

Enjoy two nights at Madikwe Safari Lodge. Accommodation is in a family suite. Your stay is on a fully inclusive basis including three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local branded spirits and beers, teas and coffees, two game drives daily in private, open 4x4 safari vehicles, refreshments on game drives, laundry and emergency medical evacuation insurance. Also included for children are early dinners, shortened game drives can be arranged for children at the lodge, subject to availability of vehicle and rangers as well as video and, colouring-in books.

Madikwe Safari Lodge is situated in the heart of the richly diverse and malaria-free 76 000-hectare (187 800 acre) Madikwe Game Reserve one of South Africa’s biggest wildlife sanctuaries. Madikwe’s diverse geology and broad mix of habitats allows a wide range of African wildlife to flourish including the Big Five, cheetah and a thriving population of wild dog. Set on a gentle slope nestled between two rolling hills, Madikwe Safari Lodge overlooks game-filled plains with the Dwarsberg Hills in the distance and the Marico River nearby. The Lodge offers exceptional game-viewing, simple yet sophisticated accommodation, superlative service and unique regional cuisine. Day 10: Depart
After your early morning game drive, you will depart on a scheduled charter flight from Madikwe Private Game Reserve to O.R. Tambo International Airport, in time for your connecting flight back home or our onward journey.
