AMAZING ANJAJAVY

As conducted from O. R. Tambo International Airport to O.R. Tambo International Airport.

Day 01 - 02: Antananarivo, Madagascar

On arrival at O.R. Tambo International Airport you will be met by a CC Africa Representative. You will be handed your travel documents and the representative will assist you with checking-in for your flight to Antananarivo (Tana), Madagascar. On your arrival in the Malagasy capital you will be met and transferred to the Palissandre Hotel & Spa.

Spend one night at Palissandre Hotel & Spa. Accommodation is in a standard room. Your stay is on a bed & breakfast basis.

Day 02 - 07: Anjajavy, Madagascar

Today you will be transferred to the airport for you onward charter flight to Anjajavy. On arrival you will be met by a hotel representative who will transfer you to the hotel.

Situated 120 km north of Mahajanga, the “flower city" facing the Mozambique Channel, is the luxury Anjajavy Hotel. Built on a peninsula in a large bay and surrounded by a private reserve of 450 acres of dry deciduous woodland - perfect for nature lovers! Bungalows are built of Palissandre wood.  Each villa boasts a spacious sea facing terrace, a lounge, a breakfast area and a bedroom.  Individual air conditioning systems ensure your room always remains and cool. The beach in front of your villa is reserved for sunbathing and swimming.

The resort offers a large swimming pool facing the ocean. Afternoon tea is served in the garden daily. The surrounding forest is home to an array of indigenous fauna & flora, such as daytime & nocturnal lemurs. Many species of bird occur here including Madagascar Buzzard. Madagascar Flying Fox are common in the nearby mangroves. An excursion by boat to Morombe Bay is truly worthwhile as this is the best area in Madagascar to observe the rare and endangered Madagascar Fish-eagle.  Excursions offered include twice daily walks along well laid out paths through the forests and near to the beaches with a local guide.

A second beach with a marina offers various water sports. Complimentary activities include: water-ski, catamaran, windsurfing, canoe in the sea and mangroves, snorkelling, petanque, billiards and volley ball. Activities at an additional charge are also offered: World class fishing (to be booked in advance), leisurely boat trips, parasailing, cycling and massages.

Spend five nights at Anjajavy Hotel. Accommodation is in a bungalow. Your stay is on a full board basis and includes all meals and selected activities as offered by the hotel.

Day 07 - 08: Antananarivo, Madagascar

Today you will check out in time for your charter flight back to Antananarivo. On your arrival you will be met and transferred to the Palissandre Hotel & Spa.

Spend one night at Palissandre Hotel & Spa. Accommodation is in a standard room. Your stay is on a bed & breakfast basis.

Day 08:  Departure 

Today you will check out of your hotel. You will be transferred by road to the airport for your departure flight to Johannesburg, South Africa.
