Day 01 - 07: Frégate Island Private, Seychelles

On arrival at the Seychelles International Airport, you will be met and welcomed to this awe-inspiring island paradise. The representative will assist you with check in for your helicopter transfer to the exclusive Frégate Island. The duration of this flight is approximately 20 minutes.

Frégate Island is an idyllic tropical hideaway, situated on the most easterly edge of the granitic islands and offers the ultimate private island experience. The island offers seven outstanding beaches and some of the rarest flora and fauna on earth. A total of 14 bird species are resident and breeding on Frégate including the magpie robin, downlisted from 'critically endangered' in 2005 largely as a result of the island's conservation actions. Frégate is also home to a wild herd of more than 400 Aldabra Giant Tortoises. The Hawksbill turtle and Green turtle, both critically endangered, are also frequent visitors to the shores of the island for nesting and egg-laying. The island's only native mammal is the 'Flying Fox', which survives solely on fruit, found in abundance in Frégate's lush tropical forests amongst species ranging from the rare Coco de Mer palm to the giant Banyan Tree.

The exclusive villas were designed with ultimate privacy in mind are built of native mahogany to blend harmoniously into the natural surroundings. Each villa has a large terrace with a day bed and jacuzzi as an extension of the living area. The light and spacious interior houses colonial-style furniture and state-of-the-art technology. Dinner is an elegant affair. In the evening, the Plantation House turns into a romantic restaurant serving traditional Creole dishes and island specialities. The alternative dining venue is Frégate House, where a gourmet menu features the Chef's daily selection of local produce. Guests can also dine in the privacy of their own villa or at the Beach Bar at Anse Bambous.

Frégate Island offers a host of activities on, in and under the water. There are two freshwater pools and seven beaches - one of which, Anse Victorin, is renowned as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Discover another world while snorkeling, explore the ocean aboard a hobie cat or kayak, go game fishing aboard the island's launches, Fregate Bird and Little Fregate or take a boat trip to explore a remote island. For those who prefer to stay ashore there is a fully equipped gym and an extensive library. The finest holistic treatments from all over the world are available at the serene Rock Spa.

Spend six nights at Frégate Island Private. Accommodation is a private villa. Your stay is on a full board basis inclusive daily breakfast, lunch and dinner; non-alcoholic drinks: tea, coffee, soft drinks and mineral water and Island Buggy during the whole stay. Also included is scuba diving instruction by the pool, use of Sunfish & Hobbie Sailboats, snorkelling equipment and use of the gymnasium.

Day 07:  Departure 

Today you will check out of your hotel and will be transferred by helicopter back to Mahe and the Seychelles International Airport.  The duration of this flight is approximately 20 minutes.
